Searching out some videos for posting in the Mountain Biking Videos catagory here at Pailheadweb.com I stumbled upon this fantastic site with tons of mountain biking videos - www.mpora.com

Whether you’re into Skate, Surf, Snow, Mountain Biking, Motocross or BMX - Mpora has it all covered.

The original home of action sports, Mpora scours the web to make sure that you have access to the best content, the best locations, and the best riders around.

For the first time on the web, you can now see an interactive map of the action sports world. Pick your sport, work out where you want to go, and we”ll show you where it’’s at. Add to our map, build your own map, or simply comment on what is already there: the action sports playground is now open.

But Mpora is more than just a map. By creating your own profile, you can upload your videos and photos to the site. From now on, you”ll be able to share your best - and worst - moments with your mates, and let the world see you in action.

Or just see how the best do it. Because across Mpora will be a selection of clips from some of the best riders at some of the biggest events in the action sports calendar.

And when you’ve done watching the action, you can talk about it in the forums. Chat to fellow riders about issues that are getting under your skin, ask them questions or simply hang out.

Cinco de Mayo Mountain Biking Adventure

Cinco de Mayo, The 5th of May, The Day of the Dead, what ever you choose to call it, it is a day of celebration. A day to party…

Well this year it was on a Monday, not much of a day for a party. So a bit of a different ride was in order. Starting out on the north side of Rochester, Michigan rather than starting out on the south side, as usual.

Doing this eliminated the need to climb the ridge on the south side of Rochester, which is a royal pain. You really get an idea of the size of the ridge when you click the Display Elevation button on the maps. The royal pain it is to climb, there is of course the great reward of bombing down it. There are plenty of choices when it comes to riding down, adding to the greatness. The best choices are found in Bloomer Park.

Riding this route still featured the single track along the Clinton river, Stoney Creek, and the techincal sections behind Yates Cider Mill. Riding in downtown Rochester is a good time as well. Being that it was Cinco de Mayo, a pit stop at the Paint Creek Tavern was a perfect choice. I highly recommend the Cobb Salad and…

The begining / end of this route incudes a section of the Paint Creek Trail. The good thing about this trail is it’s easy to ride at night.
